How much does a new roof cost in Florida?
Honest answer: it depends on the material, and on how big and steep your roof is. Architectural shingle is the least expensive up front. Concrete tile and standing seam metal cost more, and they hold up longer in Florida weather.

Does homeowners insurance cover roof replacement in Florida?
Usually yes for sudden damage, like hurricane wind or a tree coming down. Usually no for a roof that has simply worn out with age. What your own policy covers is between you and your insurance company.
If a storm has hit your roof, our storm damage repair team photographs and documents everything so you have a clear record to work from. Often a roof repair is all it needs.
What are the signs you need a new roof?
The three we hear most: water stains on the ceiling after it rains, shingle pieces or granules turning up in the gutters or yard, and a letter from your insurer about the roof’s age. Sometimes age alone is the trigger. An inspection tells you how much life is actually left.
